About Us

The Montpelier Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to fostering a thriving business environment by partnering with local businesses, government, and community organizations to promote common goals and values. Our mission is to help Montpelier businesses network, build, and flourish, ensuring economic viability through serving, promoting, and growing our membership.

Ryan Ingram – President

Pastor of Grace Community Church. Founder of the Montpelier History Club. Along with various other projects Ryan is involved with around the city he does his best to improve Montpelier through taking action and leading by example.

Chelsea Smith – Vice President

Chelsea is the Staff Scientist / Assistant Marketing Manager at Creek Run LLC Environmental Engineering, and she has served as the Vice President of the Montpelier Chamber since January 2024.  Part of her role with Creek Run is to develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, and she uses those skills to build positive relationships and encourage collaboration in the community. 

Michelle Peterson – Treasurer

Michelle grew up in rural Montpelier, cherishing memories of attending Montpelier Elementary School and spending countless hours playing at local parks. Passionate about giving back to the community that helped shape her, she is dedicated to supporting Montpelier businesses through her role as Treasurer on the Chamber Board. 

Joel Neff – Secretary

Joel Neff is the General Manager at Neff Realty and a lifetime resident of Montpelier. He comes from a long line of proud Montpelier entrepreneurs and hopes to follow in their footsteps to help make Montpelier a great place to call home.
